This guide shows us replacing a pressure relief valve in an Aqua Hot 450D. This valve was dripping under pump pressure which we know is under the pressure relief valve rating. This pressure relief valve shouldn’t drip under normal operating pressure. Extreme pressures of 100+ can cause dripping. Watch as we replace this one.

If your Aqua Hot burner isn’t firing up or smoking excessively on shutdown this could be your cure. Two possible failure Scenarios- The fuel solenoid seats tend to wear down allowing excessive fuel to pass during purge cycle or If you have a no fire situation it could mean that your solenoid has failed not allowing fuel through. Whether you are replacing just the seat and spring kit or replacing the whole fuel solenoid this video will help with your repair.

Are you the owner of an HHE-500-09M or another Aqua Hot/ Hydro Hot system and you can’t seem to get consistent hot water. Does your water seem to start hot then becomes cold? Could be your stir pump. This video can help you with most Aqua Hot system stir pump replacements. The stir pump circulates the boiler fluid from the bottom of the tank to the top so that the control thermostat has a more accurate temperature sense. Without this the burner wouldn’t kick on as fast as it should leaving you with a cold spike. Check it out.

Here is an Aqua Hot AHE-100-04S that has a Water Leak. Customer noticed water dripping out of the air intake area under the Aqua Hot. Right above that burner air intake you will find boiler water lines. These lines had press on pex fittings installed from the factory that tend to fail over time, this was the case with this repair.
