Come with me and walk around this roof to see what I look for during a roof inspection. Nothing major on this vehicle, just a spot seal. When I talk about Dicor in this guide i’m talking about the white sealant on the roof. That is the brand name of this lap sealant. Remember to clean the surface extensively before spot sealing. If the majority of the sealant is in bad shape do a full what we call in the industry scrape and seal which is removal and reseal of the full roof.

Note Before We Start- We use self leveling sealants on RV roofs such as Dicor 501LSW or Sika 715. We are Using Dicor 501LSW in this guide. Verify products that you are using are compatable with your roof material.
