In this video we show how we replace a Coleman Mach 8 AC/Heat Pump on a 2018 Entegra Anthem coach. From the ground to the roof, see how we do it. This particular units compressor would hum and after 3 seconds blow the overload protection the roof so he would hear the compressor hum and shut off and hum and shutoff, This would repeat continuously. What we saw was the ac units current would spike up to 60 amps and throw the overload. This is right around the LRA (Locked Rotor Amperage) of the unit. This compressor was seized and the unit must be replaced. Make sure to check the capacitor and voltage before replacing unit. A failed or failing capacitor can draw roughly 25 to 40 amps so it can show the same symptoms.
