Schwintek Full Slide Mechanism Replacement – Broken Bearing Block

This Schwintek slide mechanism was severely twisted, and the bearing block was broken. In situations like this, I typically recommend replacing the entire mechanism rather than attempting to repair the damaged components.

In this video, I replace the damaged Schwintek slide mechanism and restore the slide system to proper working order.

If your RV slide is grinding, popping, jumping, binding, or making unusual noises, this video may help you identify the problem. I’ll walk you through the replacement process and discuss some of the issues you may encounter along the way.
