No Power In Trailer!? WFCO WF-8955-AD Cassette Converter Troubleshooting and Repair

You come home one day after hiking Rattlesnake Ridge and you start your generator but nothing happens. Lights are still Dim, appliances possibly not working. What’s going on? The converter takes AC power and puts out DC power to charge the batteries in your trailer. If your converter isn’t working then your batteries go dead even if your plugged into shore power. There is 1 thing I would tell you before beginning troubleshooting, make sure the battery disconnect ( if equipped) is on. This is common after a long stored winter. If it’s off it could be blocking the flow of power to the battery. This could be the one that saves the trip. See how we troubleshoot and repair this issue.
